Job Title : Systems Engineer - Common Weapon Launcher Program Location: Manassas, VA Wage Range: 45-48 depending on years of experience and qualifications Job Number: 24-00991 Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer to support their Common Weapon Launcher Program to work from their Manassas, VA facility. As a systems engineer for the Common Weapon Launcher program (CWL), you will help to ensure that the functional and technical specifications and standards are complete and accurate, delivered as required to support customer review and approval, and to support system development and test. You'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the system engineering and functional design of the system under development, addressing topics such as payload integration, weapon launch interlocks, message exchanges, user interfaces, and cyber security. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2 years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
