Job Description:

Responsible for performing configuration and operation, troubleshooting, fault isolation, maintenance actions necessary to repair, restoration systems, performance testing and associated logistics actions in support of Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) equipment systems.
Perform procedures and processes used in operations, maintenance and logistics actions.
Provide monitoring, configuration and operation of the DRSN system.
Provide network services, maintain and control DRSN network.
Coordinates with interfacing agencies, and perform system operator maintenance and troubleshooting.
Operate encryption equipment and prepare reports and other documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Lead.

Qualifications:

High school diploma and 6+ years relevant professional experience (or commensurate education and experience) is required.
6 years experience with operations and maintenance of DRSN communications-electronics equipment.
6 years experience focused on DRSN and/or satellite communications equipment, operations, troubleshooting to card and component knowledge, and customer service for the Department of Defense.
Security+ certification with CE enrollment required.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Good communication skills, as well as the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors.
Specific experience on DRSN equipment is highly desirable.
Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers.

This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Top Secret clearance and to maintain the clearance.
