Operations Manager

Position Description
Under the supervision of the Contract Senior Operations Manager, leads a team of Associates in supporting the clients support sections as required. Plans, directs, and coordinates the daily activities within section. Plans and follows established procedures and methods to meet changing processing requirements. Responsibilities include setting work priorities and ensuring a smooth transition of work between the various departments. Your future duties and responsibilities
?Review production reports and set priorities for employees.
?Prepares management reports on performance and trends in production.
?Interpret policy for department and review quality of work being completed by employees.
?Conducts adhoc training for section and reviews quality of work being completed by employees.
?Resolves administrative, personnel, and operating challenges associated with management of these processing functions to assure timely issuance of passports.
?Makes recommendations for staff advancement or termination.
?Required to actively participate with teams for continuous quality improvements.
?Makes changes in organization workflow, coordinates current workflow process demands to improve services rendered.
?Effect smooth transition of work between the various processing sections.
?Develops work assignments and ensures that all subordinate associates are informed of changes in law, regulation, policy and procedures affecting their work and such changes are understood and implemented.
?Interprets policies, procedures, and goals of the organization for assigned staff.
?Responsive to employees issues and helps to build team morale and cohesiveness.
?Makes recommendations regarding staffing on all contract personnel.
?Effectively communicates with all section managers and takes initiative in addressing procedure revisions, personnel issues, and workflow problems.
?Evaluates and audits employee production for quality and quantity.
?Facilitates quality improvement programs and ensures customer service levels are met or exceeded.
?Compiles and develops management reports on performance and trends in production.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
?Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college in a related field such as Business Administration or Liberal Arts. (Preferred ? Work Experience in lieu of accepted)
?Basic personal computer skills.
?Minimum of two years of progressive supervisory experience in an office environment.
?Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize simultaneous workflow duties.
?Minimum of one year of experience in quality control (Preferred).
?Minimum of 2 years of experience in Government management (preferred).
?Document examination experience.
