Associate - Level III/Team Lead

Position Description
Under the direct supervision of the Contract Management Team, reviews documents completely and correctly utilizing laws, regulations and procedures. The individual must also have the ability to comprehend and communicate the requirements for a clearance in a professional and courteous manner over the telephone. Your future duties and responsibilities
? High School degree or equivalent (Associates or Bachelor?s Degree preferred).
? Prior experience as an Associate, Level I or II
? Two (2) years of computer experience using a word processing program. Minimum typing speed of 45 WPM (preferred)
? Two (2) year of general office experience (Three (3) preferred).
? One (1) year of computer experience obtaining information from a personal computer.
? Quality Control experience (desired).
? Data entry ability.
?Experience with Fax and e-mail.
?Good hand to eye coordination
?Capable of doing repetitive tasks such as: lifting, standing, sitting, reaching, twisting, sealing envelopes, filing and reading.
?Ability to work in one place and transverse the office on a continuing basis.
?Ability to transport 30 lbs.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Essential Functions:
Document Preparation II
?Reviewing applications to ensure completed and correct information is recorded as required in agency procedures, guidelines, and policies.

Holds Support
?Assisting Specialists withhold removal cases. Duties include reviewing documentation, faxing information, and maintaining a file system.

Data Corrects
?Resolving data correct issues to include Rewrites and Re-issues, and re-batch into the system.

?Preparing application for issuance of a non-receipt
?Preparing applications for corrections
?Contacting applicant to request the necessary documents.

Phone Support
?Requires knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations pertaining to eligibility for and issuance of a clearance
?Understanding the request for the expedite service.
?Handling complaint letters/phone calls.

Correspondence II
?Knowledge of a PC to create, save and edit current letters to clearly convey to the applicant which requirements have not been met.
?Knowledge of Info Forms
?Generate correspondence using the computer per direction.
?Preparing correspondence and application for abandonment.
?Returning applicants personal documentation.
?Purging application for mature files.
?Generating corrective correspondence for acceptance agents.

?Requires a familiarity with electronic mail software programs (e.g., Microsoft Outlook) in order to retrieve, print, save and delete incoming daily e-mail messages
? Knowledge of terminology.

?Performing Document Review function on suspended applications. Filling out and affixing a suspense tag indicating letters to be sent to applicant. Insuring systems are updated with the correct information.

Customer Service
?Calling to applicants to request proper documents.
?Assembling the incoming correspondence with pending application.
?Dealing with urgent requests by applicants
?Verifying all applications to determine the proper payment for expedite service.
?Attaching the proper paperwork to application to continue the process.
?Generating Informational Response letters to applicants.

Assisting in training employees in the essential job functions, helping to constantly improve the training process/procedure. Required to actively participate with teams for continuous quality improvement and production workflow.
?Maintains flexibility to learn and assist within each operation as required by the workload and per the direction of the supervisor.
?Must assist in training employees for the essential job functions.
?Must help to constantly improve the training process / procedure.
?Maintains constant awareness of all aspects of internal security

?Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
