Position Description
CGI is seeking experienced Data Architects with 6- 8 years of experience in data analysis, data migration and data engineering to join our team located in Suitland, MD in support of The United States Census Bureau. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with data management, programming, big data developments, systems analysis and technology architectures.

The Census Bureau's mission is to serve as the leading source of quality data about the nation's people and economy. Every 10 years, Census conducts a count of the US population in addition to conducting numerous other surveys on the people, places, and economy of the country.
The Census Bureau (USCB) is in the midst of transforming its culture in order to encourage collaboration and the implementation of innovative approaches to its mission.Census has adopted an approach of taking common functions in the survey and census life cycle and, where feasible, re-engineered their business processes to create enterprise solutions. Your future duties and responsibilities
Required skills, knowledge and ability:

At least 5+ years working with Federal Procurement Officers. Must understand the FAR and Federal Procurement processes. Must be able to work independently with tight deadlines.

Minimum requirements:

5 years working as or with Federal Procurement Officers.
Standard business hours work schedule
Most of the work is onsite at the client in Alexandria, VA

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
? BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or related field) and 6-8 years of experience in
? Application server software (Oracle products)
? Database management system software (Microsoft SQL Server)
? User interface and query software
? Enterprise application integration software (e.g. XML)
Languages ? Java, C++, SQL, PL/SQL
Agile methodologies and ERP implementation
Hadoop and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with HP ALM
? US Citizens are preferred - Permanent Residents may apply
? Willingness to work on-site at the Census location in Suitland, Maryland
