Business Analyst - Pharmacy Interface (Job Number:418154)



The Interface Design analyst will help with the creation of Interface Design documents. Working under the guidance of a team lead, the Interface Design analyst will be responsible for coordinating design sessions, updating design documents, and working with the development and testing teams. Attention to detail, good attitude, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed are critical for success.

SCOPE: Uses professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways. As part of the engagement team, helps establish

and recommend changes to policies (both business and Information Technology) which affect the clients organization. The individual is responsible for client satisfaction and quality of services delivered. Some barrier-to-entry (I.e. dept/peer review) exist at this level.

PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. May act as an advisor to unit or sub-units, becomes actively involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.

FREEDOM TO ACT: May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to less experienced/nonexempt personnel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree ( or related field) and 5 years related experience.


Experience designing and testing system interfaces (not user interfaces). Must be comfortable with MS Office and Visio. Good written and verbal communication skills. Healthcare highly desired. Pharmacy (pharmacy automation, pharmacy claims, ePrescribing) and DoD experience preferred.
