MK 32 SVTT AND RELATED EQUIPMENT ONSITE SUPPORT (Job Number:419046)
This position will provide U.S. Navy Combat Systems engineering and technical support and subject matter expertise to Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in support of MK 32 SVTT equipment stated below. Applicant will provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering technical services, and program/logistics support for MK 32 SVTT and associated equipment/subsystems both ship and land based site installations.
REQUIRED GENERAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Candidate ONE: Candidate for MK 32 SVTT technician must demonstrate:
A minimum of five (5) years specialized experience with Surface vessel Torpedo Tubes and associated equipment/subsystems. Any prior RMC experience in TSRA/INSERV is a plus.
Must be familiar with QA process/procedures in relation with SVTT RAC. A minimum ten (10) years general experience with mechanical and industrial repair methodologies. Proficient in interpreting Engineering Drawings and be able to determine parts, material and machine tooling required to perform work based on the drawings. Also be able to create a flow diagram/drawing based on situation. Proficient in Microsoft Office/Auto-Cad, and Visio.
Be proficient with the NAVY Supply Product Quality Deficiency Reporting (PQDR) system.
OTHER CERTIFICATIONS and QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
The candidates shall comply with any and all applicable NAVSEA Standard Items in the execution of this task order. Technical representatives on this task shall have and maintain a valid CPR Certification from a Nationally Accepted organization.
C.10 REQUIRED GENERAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: A minimum of six (6) years full-time hands-on technical experience within last 15 years in the operation, maintenance, installation, test, and/or repair of electrical/electronic systems/equipment incorporated in Combat, ASW, USW, MIW, or C4I systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three (3) years full-time engineering experience within the last 10 years in Combat systems, ASW, USW, MIW, or C4I in a hand on or supervisory capacity over technicians operating and maintaining Combat, ASW, USW, MIW, or C4I systems. Supervisory capacity includes: Team leader performing engineering support services such as:
(1) engineering change installations
(2) technical assists
(3) systems certifications
(5) material condition assessments
(6) systems installations
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active DOD Secret
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Up to 25%
PASSPORT REQUIRED: A valid unexpired U.S. Passport is required.
