As a SharePoint Developer you will develop SharePoint-enabled solutions to satisfy design objectives, take the development process from gathering requirements through development, and develop, test and debug new software or enhancements to existing software.
Design and develop tools that integrate with commercial applications.
Design and develop database management systems, image processing, collaborative tools, data manipulation techniques, data visualization techniques, and directory services.
Provide the operations and maintenance of operational systems.
Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.
Collaborate with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
Perform revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users.
Investigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, or peripheral equipment are responding to a program's instructions.
Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related experience.
2 years of experience with SharePoint.
Possess a good understanding of business applications, work with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems.
Proficient with SharePoint Designer, Windows Workflow Foundation and Studio 2008.
Ability to resolve customer requests/concerns with software and respond to suggestions for software modification or enhancements.
Security Requirement: Active TS/SCI level security clearance based on a SSBI within the last five years. Must be able to obtain CI Poly.
