Documentation Support Write, review, and edit CONOPS documents and review requirements documents, Create briefings to convey tailored technical content to a variety of audiences - to include monthly reviews, management approval boards, systems engineering boards. Develop various documents using Microsoft Office tools. Provide support to the COTR in the review of contract deliverables. Evaluate contract technical proposals and BOEs and assess validity of technical approach and basis of estimate.
Responsible for managing the implementation of specific government or commercial contracts. Plan, coordinate, and manage the actions taken by an organization to acquire and execute a specific piece of business, either competitively or non-competitively. Integrate all functions and activities necessary to perform the project/program to meet the client or customer requirements. Plan and implement actions by the program/project team to define and implement technical baseline and meet quality requirements for project/program products and services. Direct project team personnel, manage cost and schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve as customer interface. Frequent use and application of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. Often refers to policies, procedures and practices for guidance. FREEDOM TO ACT: Works under general direction on routine work. May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. IMPACT: Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to correct. LIASON: Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in business administration, systems engineering, mechanical engineering, operations research, mathematics, finance, or accounting or equivalent experience. Minimum of three (3) years experience supporting materials acquisitions.
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in business administration, systems engineering, mechanical engineering, operations research, mathematics, finance, or accounting or equivalent experience. Five (5) years experience supporting materials acquisitions.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience
