SAIC has a contingent job opportunity for a TBMCS Integration Analyst. This position is contingent upon contract award and located in San Diego, CA
The Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) is a U.S. Air Force Program of Record with Joint interest. The U.S. Navy (PMW 750) integrates and fields TBMCS aboard Command Ships (LCC), Aircraft Carriers (CVN), large deck Amphibious ships (LHA/LHD), and Maritime Operations Centers. TBMCS is also fielded at selected training sites. TBMCS provides the automated cabability to plan, disseminate, monitor and execute theater air battles and daily air operations in support of the Task Force Commanders’ objectives with Air Command and Control decision support tools including production of the Air Tasking Order and Airspace Control Order. TBMCS is an Acquisiotn Category (ACAT) 3 program and follows an evolutionary build strategy. Command and Control Air and Space Operations Suite (C2AOS) and Command, Control, and Information Services (C2IS) are U.S. Air Force Programs of Record that are expected to be follow-on programs for TBMCS. The U.S. Navy (PMW 750) is actively engaged to identify the integration and fielding requiremtns of these Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) products along with a migration plan for retiring of TBMCS. C2AOS/C2IS provide the same mission functionality as TBMCS with the flexibility to operate on Command Computing Equipment (CCE) in a SOA environment. C2AOS/C2IS are ACAT 3 programs and follow an evolutionary build strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Extensive operational and engineering knowledge of C2 Air planning systems to include TBMCS/Command and Control Air Operations Services (C2AOS)/Command and Control Information Services (C2IS); comprehensive understanding of TBMCS hardware and software variants and configuration; understanding of SOA design/implementation as it applies to interfacing with Afloat Core Services (ACS) and managing applications in a Navy SOA environment; and extensive knowledge of Navy C2 requirements in support of Air Planning.
- Four (4) years experience providing C4I program office support for TBMCS/C2AOS/C2IS systems.
