About the Position:
Develop and implement Marketing programs that increase Trade participation (e.g., architect, engineer, contractor) in National Grid’s Energy Efficiency (EE) offerings for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) New Construction. Plan and implement print/digital advertising. Leverage prospect database to generate qualified leads through e-mail and other digital tools. Drive planning and implementation of a lead development and nurturing program through Salesforce.com. Partner with marketing agencies to create/execute high impact communications that drive business results. Manage/update Trade website. Analyze data and activities to provide relevant fact-based information to support decision-making. Manage and optimize budgets.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Develop and implement multiple marketing communication plans to drive qualified leads, financial performance and Trade satisfaction.
Improve the Trade experience by optimizing communications and creating targeted messaging. This work includes print/digital advertising, direct response marketing (mail, digital, telemarketing), thought leadership (webinars, e-newsletters, case studies), Trade website content and related self-service tools.
Manage the Trade website and keep it current. Update via content management system.
Leverage a prospect database to drive Trade campaigns, including leveraging reporting capabilities to update a marketing dashboard and proactively review/analyze campaign results. Enable better lead relationship management and disposition reporting. Help put in place a marketing automation project.
Determine campaign ROI’s, collaborating with the Analytics team, and ensure past campaign insights are implemented into future campaigns.
Collaborate with Channel Sales and vendors to monitor lead activity and ensure alignment on all marketing efforts to increase business financial results and Trade satisfaction. Support Channel Sales to help achieve sales lead development process excellence.
Manage the Trade budget to efficiently deliver on objectives and maximize business results.
·3+ years of Business-to-Business marketing and/or advertising-related work experience that ties into energy efficiency technical applications
·Knowledge of relevant construction industry practices and current energy efficiency trends and developments
·Proficient in relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Salesforce.com, marketing automation tools, website content management software desired.
·Knowledge of utility or energy industry business operations desired.
