Rockwell Collins' ARINCDirect is the most complete provider of business aviation solutions in the market today. Our global fuel program utilizes 30 years knowledge and relationships, plus the channels to market of our flight planning, scheduling program and trip support business. The fuel team is a dynamic group with full support from leadership to grow the business, people and brand.

Utilizing past experience in the aviation fuel industry specific to general aviation, manage and oversee the global fuel supply of Rockwell Collins ARINCDirect aviation fuel business. Maintain existing fuel supplier relationships as well as locating and developing new supplier relationships. Conduct fuel tenders including supplier negotiations and awards. Support related teams in their objectives to market ARINCDirect Fuel, manage supplier pricing, provide customer quotes and ensure accurate customer invoicing.

Core duties and responsibilities:
Identify new supplier relationships and maintain existing relationships with international fuel providers
Negotiate fuel agreements with fuel suppliers through coordinated efforts with contract administration team
Utilize and improve effectiveness and efficiency of pricing formula database and systems to expedite the accuracy and timeliness of postings to internal fuel systems
Support business development opportunities with corporate, charter, management and military operators specific to aviation fuel
Gain a good understanding of the company products / services offered in order to promote complimentary products and services
Prepare and execute fuel tenders as well as responding to client fuel tender submissions

Skills:
Experience in the International Aviation Fuel Industry
A detailed overview and familiarity with operational, supplier and customer landscape in the aviation fuel industry
Contract negotiation experience including both commercial terms and general terms and condition
Familiarity of the IATA Aviation Fuel Model Agreement
Fuel Tender preparation and response experience
Knowledge of jet fuel market spot reporting such as Argus, Opis or Platts
Knowledge of tax application to aviation fuel such as VAT, MOT and other excise taxes
Good oral and written communication skills in English
Work well in both individual and team settings, utilizing both analytical and project management skills




Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience.


US Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required.
Candidate must have the following experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in the Aviation Fuel Industry, minimum of 4 years of experience in the International Aviation Fuel Industry, Fuel Tender preparation and response experience and Knowledge of jet fuel market spot reporting such as Argus, Opis or Platts
