Electrical GF

Pay is $23.00 hour, no per diem

Full time maintenance position with benefits

Responsibilities:

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment and power distribution throughout the plant.

Establish the appropriate procedure to locate and correct electrical problems, and determine electrical component replacements.

Install and maintain high, medium, and low voltage power controls on equipment.

Troubleshoot electrical problems in power circuits 120v - 13.8kv volts, in addition to control circuits of various voltages.

May perform a variety of electrical tests to determine exact cause of issue.

Perform adjustments and calibration procedures on various forms of process equipment.

Perform Preventative Maintenance as instructed on all plant electrical equipment.

Make necessary electrical installations and/or repairs.

Works with each department providing necessary electrical support to ensure day-to-day maintenance issues are resolved.

Interpret electrical printouts, installation instructions, and work orders.

Perform work area inspection.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements/ Qualifications:

years Industrial Electrical experience

Familiar with NFP 70E

Must have proven experience and ability in mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance troubleshooting techniques.

Knowledge of basic AC and DC control circuits as well as terminology of tools, prints and equipment.

Knowledge of AC and DC VFD's

Must have the ability to demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical /electrical principles/ concepts.

Have the ability to read/comprehend electrical blue prints and schematics.

Ability to effectively communicate in a one-on-one or small group situation

Good driving record.

Follow plant safety rules including arc flash requirements, lock tag and try procedures, and fall protection

Cooperation - Works well with team members and salaried supervisors to meet desired objectives.

Schedule and complete maintenance tasks through ongoing coordination with production supervision.

Problem Analysis - Must be able to quickly define problem and apply corrective action.

Creativity - Formulates new and unique approaches or solutions to existing control and electrical systems.

Ability to work overtime, night and weekend work as needed including responding to emergency call-outs.

Work performed inside and outside in all weather conditions at a Titanium Surface Mine.

Ability to use various test equipment such as cable high pot tester, high voltage tic tracer, megger and multi meter.

Familiar with instrument control devices such as level transmitters, flow meters, density meters and control valves.

Familiar with 4-20ma control circuits • Ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment.

Troubleshoot three phase 480v motor control circuits

Proficient in basic computer skills
