The contractor will plan, develop, and implement technical training programs for cyber professionals, developers, and partners as well as leading projects to develop courseware focused on advanced defensive cybersecurity techniques. In addition, the contractor must have moderate to extensive knowledge of cyber operations in a DoD environment and practical application of Army Cyber operations, Information Assurance, and Computer Network Defense. The contractor will be responsible for the development and formatting of quality training materials and update content on a regular basis to keep pace with an innovative learning environment that addresses rapid changes in technical competencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level technical support and analysis to further assist in the development of the Cyber Courses and Operations.

Provide direct onsite instructor support to teach, coach, assess students in compliance with the curriculum, and provide student feedback and progress reports.

Provide lessons learned, make informed recommendations as to newly developed cyber training materials, and assist with integration into master training schedule as directed.

Conduct sustainment training analysis and exercise analysis for leadership regarding measures of performance and measures of effectiveness for collective training and exercise events.

Develop cyber mini-exercises for pre-flag and flag-level events based on training objectives and exercise objectives.

Provide expert-level technical support and analysis to develop cyber training Programs of Instruction (POIs), assessment feedback, and maintain student histories.

Conduct in-depth research on Computer Network Defense (CND) cyber operations, lessons learned, and newly developed Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and identify and recommend resources required for task execution to include events that replicate the operational environment.

Develop training materials and plans to exercise the Cyber Operations.

Support Threat System Management to include threat emulation.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 14 years experience (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree)

Minimum 5 years’ experience in performing cyber focused training activities, or expertise in applying cybersecurity best practices within organizations

Required Qualifications:
Currently active Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent

Knowledge of Federal and DoD Guidance (DoDD 8500.1, DoDI 8500.2, DoDI 8510.01 SP 800-57, SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253), DIACAP, RMF, and NIST

Proficiency with Windows and Linux variants, TCP/IP, LAN networking, configuration of O/S, server installation/configuration, client installation, SSH, shell scripting, and web technologies

Familiarity with NIST processes, DISA STIGS and STIG-Tools

10% Travel and weekend work required.

Desired Qualifications:
Army ABIC Certification preferred
OSCP Certification preferred

Clearance Requirement:
Currently active DoD TOP SECRET Security Clearance required, must be SCI eligible
