Full Time Employee
The candidate will be a member of a team operating and sustaining equipment in Busan, South Korea. The candidate must be familiar with custom software applications (JACCS, EEA, E2A, FPA). Will operate and monitor a suite of sensors and systems from a central workstation. Requires some interaction with the facility force protection officer during the shift and with team members from other organizations. Must possess on the spot personal decision making skills based on a defined concept of operations to provide recommendations to facility leadership. Serve as the shift leader and ensure duty logs are maintained and shift change briefings occur for situational awareness of the incoming shift. The candidate will perform troubleshooting to determine faults within the system and assist maintainers in conducting field maintenance on systems. System is comprised of long range thermal imagers, pan-tilt-zoom cameras, ground surveillance radars, computer and IT hardware, and chemical and biological sensors. The candidate will also be required to assist with the movement of repair parts from storage sites to the work location.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is desired. Equivalent experience is accepted in lieu of degree.
Must possess custom software troubleshooting skills.
Must have 4 years of direct experience in areas of maintaining and accounting for Force Protection equipment i.e. LRTI, Pelco PTZ, FLIR ground surveillance radar, and chemical sensors.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must currently possess or be capable of attaining a SECRET security clearance.
Must meet DoD Height/Weight standards.
Must be capable of satisfactorily completing Combat Readiness Center (CRC) requirements, including medical and dental requirements prior to deployment.
Must be able to lift 97 pounds occasionally and 73 pounds frequently.
Must be willing to live and work in a foreign country.
