Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented DevOps Engineer to join our team in the Stafford, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to
begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Identify, assess, and evaluate complex product/service solutions
• Coordinate resolution of product/service issues, upgrades and problems
• Interact with management to assess major business processes and address product/service needs
• Develop and deliver presentations to customer leadership
• Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software, hardware, and system configurations
• Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products
• Address problems related to system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
• Consult with project teams and end users to identify functional needs and automation or orchestration requirements to accomplish those needs
• Perform feasibility analyses on potential future projects
• Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and test tools
• Resolve problems with software, systems, configurations, and virtualization and provide recommendations for improvement and enhancement
• Instruct, assign, direct, and check the work of other technical support personnel as it relates to devops functions




Position Requirements:
• BS degree
• Eight to ten years application development, systems integration, virtualization, cloud technologies, and automation/ orchestration experience
• Current DoD Top Secret level clearance
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance/access
• Experience with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio
• Experience working in a team environment
• VCP certification
• 2+ years VMware vCloud Suite experience or similar private cloud capabilities
• 2+ years VMware vRealize Suite experience or similar private cloud management solutions
• 2+ years JavaScript/coding experience
• 7+ years experience with VMware
• 5+ years experience using and administering Windows systems
• 5+ years experience using and administering Linux systems
• Experience using systems management infrastructure (e.g., LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory) and deployment software (e.g., Puppet, Chef)
• Linux power user who is comfortable with command-line tools (e.g., awk, sed, grep, scp, ssh)
• Experience with systems deployment and maintenance (e.g., cron job scheduling, iptables, configuration files, service management)
• Working knowledge of Web/Cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, REST)
• Practical work experience designing and deploying public and private Cloud-based solutions
• Skilled in provisioning and managing multiple servers and systems in private cloud environments
• Comfortable using one or more scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, PowerShell)
• Familiar with Configuration Management and continuous integration practices and concepts



Preferred Requirements:
• Experience with Agile development
• DCA VMware certification
• VCP Advanced certification
• Windows Server certification
• Linux certification
• Horizon View/VDI experience
• General understanding of storage (Datastore, SAN, NFS, FiberChannel, etc.)
• VMware NSX experience
• Hyper-V / Openstack / Other hypervisor experience
• Programming ability in an OOP language (e.g., Java, Scala, C#, C++)
• Data warehouse architecture, modeling, profiling and integration experience
• General knowledge of database concepts, specifically, SQL syntax


Security Requirements:
• Current DoD Top Secret level clearance
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance/access
