Position Description
Position Summary:

Chief Systems Engineer for US Army Battle Command Information Systems. Must plan, organize, schedule, control and direct all life cycle Systems Engineering; design and development of system modifications, upgrades and obsolescence management activities; execute recurring and nonrecurring engineering services. Oversee configuration management, security, quality, software as well as mechanical and electrical engineering, chair the Technical Integrated Product Team.

Principle Duties:

Employ Multi-disciplined engineering team members to provide software development, maintenance and repair of all fielded US Army Battle Command Information Systems; establish and execute integrated master schedules for all engineering support; establish and execute engineering support contract budget; mitigate obsolescence of equipment; ensure all engineering personnel are properly trained and equipped for the contract requirements.

Required Skills:
US Army Battle Command Systems of Systems Engineering and Integration, Experience with US Army Engineering Services support contracts, Agile Software Development, Experience Technical Briefing for Preliminary/Critical Design Reviews

Additional Requirements:

8am-5pm Office Environment, Some Manufacturing Plant Supervision of Technical Installation and design work
