Momentum Functional Consultant
CGI is seeking a Momentum Functional Consultant specializing in helpdesk support and Tier 2 ticket resolution, business process analysis and requirements gathering to join the EBAS-D Support team at our client in Arlington, VA, supporting sustainment of the Momentum application.
?Identify requirements that currently are not met by the existing system configuration, analyze the system to determine how they can be met, and work with the system integration team to develop optimized solutions (e.g., new reports, new defects, new fields, etc.). Majority of efforts will focus on supporting the Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) business processes.
?Generate queries (both SQL and Cognos) used for reporting and analysis purposes as requested by the client and our partners functional team in support of ticket resolution.
?Daily interaction with the client and cross-functional team members is expected to provide and coordinate support efforts in order to satisfy the need for ticket resolution . At a minimum, these activities include facilitating the entry of orders, bills and collections with end-users, coordinating the run of batch jobs with the system integration team, providing validation on the status of orders on a periodic basis, analysis of expenditure with extensive problem solving.
?Solutioning to include requirements gathering and documentation, proposed product configuration and documentation, test case development and execution, Tier 2 Issue analysis and resolution, and integrating planned solutions with Tier 3 Technical team members to come to completion.
?Experience in resolving Momentum help desk tickets preferred.??
Minimum of 1 year of functional experience with Momentum
Experience working with federal government clients is required; experience with DoD clients is preferred.
Experience providing finance and accounting operational support using Momentum financials is required. Momentum financials 6.5 or greater preferred.
It is expected that the Functional Consultant will have a solid background in functional analysis, requirements gathering and definition, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Government Financial Management background desirable; knowledge of Government Revolving Funds and Accounts Receivable preferred.
Experience with SQL required Writing and executing basic Select, Update, Delete statements; Familiarity with complex inner and outer joins, and case statements.
Must have excellent communication and time management skills, and strong attention to detail.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and within a team.
Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Project and Access a plus
