Integrated Network Engineer (Job Number:421042)
Description:
SAIC has a job opening for an Integrated Network Engineer to support our Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center (MCNOSC) client's mission to provide enterprise network operations and defense in Quantico, VA
- Manage Integrated Network Support of MCEN NIPRNET and SIPRNET IA boundary of routers, switches, Proxy devices, and Firewalls.
- Support Information Assurance (IA) boundary architecture for the garrison and tactical MCEN while ensuring compliance with the MCNOSC and DISA published technical guidance and higher operational standards
- Support Marine Corps unified capabilities to the Marine Corps Operational Forces to include Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), Voice Over Secure Internet Protocol (VOSIP), and Video Teleconferencing (VTC).
- Will coordinate with other MCNOSC sections to include Enterprise Directory and Messaging (EDM) and The Defense Cyber Operations Section (DCOS), outside Department of Defense (DoD) agencies to include DISA, EA-TJTN, and the other armed services, other Federal Government agencies to include the Department of State, and civilian organizations to include HW and SW vendors
Qualifications:
Required Education and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 4 years of related experience or 8 years of relevant experience will offset degree requirements and related IT degree preferred.
- Security+, CISSP, or CASP required
- Active DOD Secret clearance, and be Top Secret eligible.
- 4+ years of core routing and switching
- 1+ year of supporting firewalls
- Cisco, Linux, Firewall certification and PLUS!
