The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for supporting the local center/field by performing a variety of Human Resource-related duties with some supervision while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.

This position's duties include managing employee relations issues across multiple work shifts. This position provides accurate and timely information on a variety of Human Resource issues, including policy interpretation, leaves of absence, workers compensation, benefits, compensation, performance appraisals, unemployment claims, safety, and progressive discipline and terminations; may act as a specialist for other Human Resource team members on one or more of the preceding topics.

This position represents the company and the department in employee counseling sessions, committee meetings, training sessions, and orientation programs. This position's duties also include assisting teams with special assignments, which may include departmental and Network-wide research efforts. This position maintains current knowledge of Human Resource related State and Federal legislation, internal systems, and procedures; recommends changes as appropriate.
