This job is located at Camp Atterbury or Muscatatuck Training Center, IN.
U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Rapid Response Program to include, engineering services, technology insertion and integration, software and hardware engineering, systems integration support, test and evaluation, integrated logistic support, new equipment training, maintenance and engineering support, fabrication/prototyping, testing/certification, studies/analyses, logistics support, training and engineering support, including re-engineering and reverse engineering, installation and de-installation, business operations support, and system integration/installation. Place of Performance is Camp Atterbury, near Edinburgh, Indiana. This is contingent upon contract award, period of performance is one base year with two additional options that can be exercised.
Essential Job Functions: (not limited to duties as described – performs related duties as requested) Responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scope, development, design, and direction of major projects. Applies an extensive knowledge of management concepts, principles, methods, practices, and processes.
The position requires a broad technical background and experience in various functions; a full and in-depth understanding of procedures and authorization and appropriation processes; and a strong management background.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Manages large projects involving multifunctional tasking and substantial complexity.
•Plans and supervises major system life cycle support tasks/functions including requirements definition, acquisition, integration, test and evaluation, fielding/installation, and disposition.
•Integrating sponsor/customer requirements and participation into a comprehensive management plan that is fully coordinated with all contributing agencies and organizations including various functional elements within the installation.
•Establishing, responsibilities and setting expectations.
•Control and manage assigned projects, budget and schedule, assuring that commitments to the customer are met; and serve as the installation's primary point of contact for customer and other external agencies on assigned projects.
•Provides project supervision and management for major program activities.
•Manages and directs technical project/program personnel to ensure objectives are met with top quality and levels of performance.
•Must be capable of meeting the physical demand rating of light, lifting on an occasional basis a maximum of 25 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 10 pounds.
•Must be proficient in the use of a personal computer and in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
Education & Experience: (or equivalent)
•High school diploma or GED equivalent.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
•Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and GSA vehicle license. This position may require travel within CONUS, and requires a flexible 40 hour week.
•Requires knowledge with all associated platform support and hardware of this Task Order
Security Clearance: Must possess an active TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance
