It?s an exciting time for CGI in Atlantic Canada; we are thrilled to have a position that has become available for a beginner project manager to join our professional consulting team within our Atlantic Business Unit (ABU).

A strong understanding of the SDLC as well as excellent communication, analytical skills and a strong commitment to be successful and make our client successful are paramount. This is an opportunity for growth and to be coached and mentored by professional and experienced project managers to ensure a rigid and disciplined foundation to build a career as a project manager. Ideally the candidate will already have started their PMP or alternatively be excited that CGI would help them to obtain it.

The perfect candidate for this role will have > 3 years hands on professional consulting experience with at least two different clients. They will have a proven track record of commitment, ownership and a drive for success. They are analytical, practical and disciplined in their work ethic and the way they interact with clients. Their communication will be excellent and they will have examples of situations where they have worked directly with the client to achieve a positive result and success. Their career aspiration is within project management and project governance and they are excited at the thought of having an opportunity to learn skills and be mentored by more senior and experienced members of CGI.
