Job Summary
 
The Supply Chain Compliance Analyst is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing responses to government audit requests for Sourcing operations and for ensuring “Golden Package” ratifications are processed and completed through the Purchase Order creation. In addition, this role includes working closely with Sourcing in the completion of the “Golden Package” as per the established internal and external compliance regulations.  Make recommendations to ensure company actions meet the standards of regulatory requirements.

 
Principal Accountabilities

  • Coordinate compliance review and response for DCAA and DCMA procurement requests for Procurement in a timely manner.
  • Conduct research and analysis to determine information required to support compliance requests. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Perform analysis/reconciliation of Compliance audits and provide recommended corrective actions.
  • Provide support in the creation of the Sourcing “Golden Package” as it relates to internal and external compliance regulations.
  • Review contract documents and correspondence for internal consistency and conformance with established procurement procedures.
  • Recommend changes in policies and procedures to improve compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory agencies and procurement best practices.
  • Coordinate preparation of audits and reports for both customer and management.
  • Run queries from databases to gather data assigned to contract under SBU.
  • Serve as point of contact on the day-to-day activities of Sourcing with management to verify policies and procedures, current and future operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR).preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (i.e., excel, word, access). Extensive skill with spreadsheet and data base programs.
  • Ability to research, on a daily basis and from multiple sources of information, new or revised regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple daily objectives.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Operate a ten key calculator by touch. 
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Cost Point, and COGNOS preferred.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related area preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years’ related experience in business environment.  Government compliance and audit experience preferred.
  • Minimum one year experience in government contract environment.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

  • Works in a normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.

Travel

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10-15% of time.
