General Summary:
IT Project Coordinator - Associate supports the IT Program Manager / IT Project Manager as well as the rest of the project team providing administrative and coordination assistance. IT Project Coordinator - Associate holds the responsibilities as project staff assistant, who will coordinate communication, facilitate meetings, and follow up on assignments. IT Project Coordinator - Associate works to ensure that the working conditions of the team, including access to documentation, systems, project members and subject matter experts, is seamless. IT Project Coordinator - Associate derives their authority from the Program / Project Manager and is involved in the tactical decision making process

Possess a working knowledge of the tools and processes required by the role Able to handle moderately complex assignments Capable individual performer Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, coaching and feedback

Essential Functions:
Possess administrative responsibility to support the Project Manager and the project team in maintaining important project documents, updating the project plan, preparing meeting agendas / minutes, preparing status reports, etc. Work to ensure successful delivery of assigned projects; optimize results within business and product time constraints; participate in meetings with project team to document status and assign issues as they arise Follow-up skills to make sure that all members of the project team meet their commitments Review and track status of project and deliverable's and provides Project Manager with early warning if anything is going ?off track? Ensure adherence to project management process, best practices and project documentation standards Ensure working conditions that permit project personnel to interact and deliver in the most cost-effective manner

Strong written and verbal communication skills Conflict recognition, management and resolution Problem analysis and solution building Ability to function in an environment typified by information uncertainty , changes at short notice, surprise developments and in general, being rather unsettled Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward project completion General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar project management software Some training in project management practices preferred Working knowledge of SharePoint General Knowledge of Visio Basic understanding of the IT system development life cycle (SDLC) Knowledge of PBM, healthcare industry helpful Bachelor?s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
