Position Responsibilities:
The contractor shall will be responsible for the following activities:
Create and provide software updates to meet requirements
Respond to user requests for support Develop and maintain integration documentation through the use of APIs
Monitor and maintain product operational environments
Perform application testing to ensure requirements have been met; keep the test plan
and checklists updated
Resolve issues of interoperability between products and other associated programs or systems
Adhere to the products agile software development process
Developers will be assisting in the development of web applications. Specifically:
Experience with distributed multi-node design, architecture, development and
Experience developing with JBOS, JAVA, JavaScript, DOJO, SigmaJs, HTML/HTML 5, CSS,
multi-browser support.
Java Build/Development tools (Maven, Gradel), Linux environment, mainstream IDE’s
(e.g., Eclipse, IntelliJ, Netbeans), source controls (e.g., SVN, GIT, Mercurial), Web frameworks (e.g., Flex, AngularJS, EmberJS, BackboneJS),
JQuery, Application frameworks (e.g., Spring, Play), Tomcat, and database platforms (e.g., Relational, Key-value, Elastic)
Experience with integrating all of the aforementioned components as loosely coupled modules that can be deployed and run independently yet operate as one fluid application in a multi-server environment
Five (5) years of direct experience with an intelligence community or signals
intelligence activity.
Six (6) years experience leading and managing software-intensive projects and
Fifteen (15) years experience in a technical role, working on software intensive projects and programs for Government or Industry customers.
Seven (7) years experience in an enterprise environment.
Four (4) years of this experience must have been obtained in the last Seven (7) years.
Ten (10) years experience as a Software Engineer supporting software architecture
development, requirements analysis, design, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of FOSS/COTS/GOTS tools, and unit & test integration (with both new and legacy systems).
Two (2) years experience developing solutions by integrating and extending COTS
Five (5) years experience in some applicable programming language such as the
C++ or C
UNIX scripting
Workflow tools
such as JBoss or Weblogic
Spring, near-real-time processing, collection systems, network protocols & standards, GUI development, mission management systems
Two (2) years experience in web services implementation.
Eight (8) years experience in programming using Top Down, Event Driven, and object-oriented paradigms.
Seven (7) years experience developing, delivering, testing and supporting integrated hardware and software systems using industry recognized process management; such as a CMMI Level 2
Demonstrated technical writing skills and generated five documents in support
of a software development project.

Desired Qualifications:
Five (5) years experience in Agile methods is desired.

Required Education:
Shall have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
