Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior VoIP/VTC Engineer to join our team in the San Diego, CA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. The selected candidate will plan, evaluate and/or coordinate the installation of local and/or remote data and voice communications equipment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Plan, evaluate, and/or coordinate the installation of local and/or remote data and voice communications equipment such as terminals, modems, video conferencing units, concentrators, minicomputers, central processing units, facsimiles, and pagers
  • Design entire networks or portions of networks that include selection of hardware and software packages
  • Oversee voice network reconfiguration and billing reconciliation’s
  • Ensures that all software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed
  • Develops or assists in the development of standards for carrier service and equipment
  • Prepares or ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions. Provides regulatory monitoring and voice network analysis regarding short and long range planning for in-house systems

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and five or more years of experience
  • Requires Cisco CCNA Voice or equivalent certification
  • Requires Security+ CE or equivalent certification to meet DoD 8570.1M requirements for IAT Level II
  • Requires up to date experience with Cisco VTC codes, Cisco VoIP end points, Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) version 9 or later, Cisco Tandberg Management Server, and experience with SolarWinds Voice/Video QoS product.

Security requirements:

US Citizenship and Top Secret required with ability to obtain a SCI
