The Region Training and Technology Director will have ownership to oversee all trainers in the Northeast Region; based in Yonkers, NY area preferred but open to other locations that are centrally located. Extreme travel will be required, both air and by car.

The Region Training and Technology Director identifies region-wide training gaps, strengths, and trends to provide strategic direction for regional area. Acts as a Business Partner to Operations in evaluating training effectiveness to meet changing needs of the business, and as a Business Partner to the Region Vice President to provide additional support and training needed for that region. Leads a team of District Training Facilitators who are responsible for delivering dynamic, engaging training programs to enhance the learning and development of the store associates. Ensures that the District Training Facilitators provide facilitated training sessions as well as on-the-floor coaching for associates.

• Partners with Region Vice President (RVP) and Region HR Director (RHRD) to plan training delivery and support for the region
based on identified needs and initiatives. Identifies training content needed and provides feedback to relevant training partners as
• Reviews Shop Your Way/Integrated Retail/Retail Excellence Scorecard/Location Balanced Scorecard and relevant reporting
regularly to identify performance opportunities that can be subject for additional training to improve behaviors, and partners with
RVP, RHRD and relevant Retail Services teams to plan next steps.
• Assists in the launch of new integrated retail initiatives to ensure that associates and managers understand the intent and
expected execution within the stores. Continuously monitors new initiative metrics, seeks feedback, reinforces training and
observes store utilization to ensure adoption is consistent within the region to further correct associate behaviors. Partners with
relevant retail team in planning next steps.
• Ensures effective training delivery in region. Partners with Store Managers, Market Leaders and Market teams to evaluate training
effectiveness, identify ways to implement improvements and engage associates to increase adoption.
