(Min.) Qualification / Experience (No. of years):

High-school degree, plus at least 2 years industrial experience in electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems, within chemical or process industry

Experience with and/or working knowledge of technical and/or safety codes, such as NFPA (NEC) and OSHA

Understanding of documentation (process flow diagrams, P&IDs, loop-sheets, etc.)

AutoCAD background and/or experience

Knowledge of MCCs, Drives, and electrical wiring

Knowledge of DCS and/or PLC systems (preferably Emerson DeltaV and/or Honeywell TDC-3000 and/or Rockwell (ControlLogix), as well as controls-communications protocols (such as Ethernet, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, etc.) a plus

Background with process analyzers and/or installed personnel monitoring systems a plus

Clear and effective communication of relevant project, process, and/or equipment information

Frequent and constructive interaction with operations, maintenance, contractors, I&E Team Lead, and team-members

Projects supported in organized and efficient manner, with compliance to BASF methods, standards, and guidelines

Operational-support needs and action-items delivered on-time, with high level of awareness (when required) of action item status

Document-reviews, -updates, and -additions carried out in a timely manner

Conscientious workmanship and attention-to-detail in all areas

Controls, electrical, and/or programming support for I&E Team engineers, for new installations and modifications/upgrades to electrical, instrumentation, and control systems

Gather information and help direct work on controls-related systems, including field-wiring and instrumentation

Generate and/or update proper documentation of instrumentation and electrical equipment records, drawings, check-sheets, PMs, etc., to meet regulatory and BASF requirements

Serve as a technical-support resource for the Hannibal site, in the fields of instrumentation, controls, and programming, relevant to process and equipment operation

Serve as back-up I&E support contact for the operating units on-site, including in the areas of troubleshooting, maintenance-recommendations, and high-priority repairs or replacements
