Cyber Operations Support Analyst (Part Time) (Job Number:421659)
SAIC is currently seeking candidates for a Cyber Operations Support Analyst to support our Air Force Customer on the Space Based Infrared Systems program. This position is currntly Part time (approximately 20 hours a week), with potential of moving to Full time in the future. Itrequires a minimum of a Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain a SCI Level.
Contractor will work with Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) team to help identify and develop strategies to protect against cyber threats. Develop adversarial threat scenarios that could impact system confidentiality, integrity and availability. Support continuous monitoring and risk assessments of network and systems. Strong research capabilities to stay up to date on the latest attack vectors and how they relate to the customers organization. Strong communication skills both written and verbal to help communicate technical threats and requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop procedures, decision matrices and additional security documents as required.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or similar field.
5+ years experience with space system, either as a developer, operator or maintainer.
5+ years experience with vulnerability scanning, testing and remediation.
5+ years experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
Must possess a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
A self-starter, capable of working both independently and in team environments.
Strong customer service, organizational skills, knowledge of applicable DoD/Government policies and procedures.
Solid understanding of industry standards availability and security practices required.
Understanding of Defensive Cyber Operations procedures.
Capable of translating technical requirements and results to non-technical audiences.
Knowledge and experience working with ACAS
Knowledge and experience working with Tenable NESSUS Scanner
Knowledge and experience working with Tenable Security Center
Knowledge and experience working with LogRhythm or similar SIEM tool.
Knowledge and experience working with Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems
Strong knowledge of DOD Risk Management Framework
Must currently hold a minimum of an active TS Department of Defense Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain an SCI Level DOD Clearance.
