Functional Analyst

Position Description
Candidate will join a team of analysts that provide functional support for the Momentum implementation at the Department of Justice. This includes both end user and Tier 2 production support, build and release testing, support of activities needed to migrate new organizations into the Department's production instance, and support of activities needed to upgrade Momentum to later versions.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of the Momentum product and how it's used by federal agencies. The candidate should be able to work independently and not be afraid to ask for assistance when needed; be self-directed, eager to learn, and eager to pitch in wherever needed; able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time, prioritizing as needed based on project priorities. They will be expected to pay close attention to details and take ownership of the tasks and tickets assigned to them.
The candidate will initially be responsible for tracking and responding to customer requests for support, providing support for testing activities, and providing functional analysis to support activities needed to upgrade the system to later versions of Momentum and to bring new parts of the Department of Justice into the system.

As the candidate becomes more familiar with the Department of Justice and how it uses Momentum, they will be expected to take ownership of one or more functional areas of the system, lead initiatives to assist DOJ with business process changes, and provide recommendations and guidance to the Department to assist them with developing new internal policies and processes.

At least 2-3 years of experience with the Momentum Suite
Solid communications skills
Strong analytical skills
Fulltime hours (40) on client site in Washington, DC.
Top Secret Security Clearance

Desired requirements:
Experience or familiarity with SQL and database concepts
