Sr. Mainframe Application Programmer

Position Description
As a Mainframe Application Programmer you will provide design, development, testing, documentation and implementation support for a variety of mainframe applications.

The systems engineering component of CGI?s portfolio applies formal engineering methods and practices to analyze, design, develop, deploy, and modernize information systems. Our client provides accurate, near real time integrated logistics information and is the technology centerpiece for logistics modernization in the Marine Corps. Your future duties and responsibilities
? Write moderately complex mainframe programs
? Understand a variety of programming languages including Natural, COBOL, JCL
? Mentor Junior Members
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
? Strong problem solving and resolution skills
? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Will be working on US Marine Corps installation. Must be able to pass background checks and meet any
additional government worksite requirements
? Have Security+ CE Certification or obtain in the first 6 months of employment
? ADABAS experience
? Familiarity with Marine Corps mainframe access and security procedures
? Knowledge of the following Marine Corps systems or other MC Mainframe Systems: TDMS, TMS, WRS,
Provisioning, SL1-3, ITEM APPLICATIONS
? Experience with source control systems (Endevor, N2O)
? Prior knowledge and experience with the Marine Corps Logistic Systems and configuration process
