Government Compliance Analyst (Job Number:421980)



The SAIC Government Compliance team is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the government compliance function within SAIC. This includes US Government customer interface, oversight and administration of compliance with the US Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 31 Cost Principles, adequacy of internal controls related to the DFARS business systems regulations, administration associated with SOX compliance support, and policy/procedure governance related to financial compliance with CAS, FAR, and DFARS. The Government Compliance Team is responsible for interfacing on behalf of SAIC with various government customers, including the Corporate Administrative Contracting Officer (CACO), cognizant Divisional Administrative Contracting Officers (DACOs), and the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) across all business sites. Ensuring and promoting good working relations with DCMA and DCAA

- Accurately maintaining compliance with the company’s disclosure statements and defending any allegations of financial noncompliance
- Timely completion of annual incurred cost proposals and supporting all related audit support
- Conducting final rate negotiations and settlements
- Developing and implementing strategic changes as necessary to disclosed accounting practices with the goal of compliantly improving competitiveness, company cash flow, and increased margins
- Monitoring systems of internal controls to ensure that company systems are providing accurate and reasonable accumulation and recording of costs charged to US Government contracts
- Development and Delivery of Training
- Preparing reports of findings and recommendations to management and executive leadership
- Providing compliant solutions to support the SAIC Customer Groups and Service Lines in their capture strategies
- Other duties as assigned



- Bachelor's Degree plus applicable experience required


- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
- Demonstrated strategic thinking
- Demonstrated experience briefing senior executives on complex financial matters
- Ability to work successfully in a matrix environment
- Demonstrated ability to implement complex solutions across a vast Business Area Demonstrated collaboration skills and “Building Effective Relationships” skills
- Expert knowledge of CAS, FAR, DFARS, and of DCMA and DCAA customer community including negotiation experience
