Host-Based Security System (HBSS) Analyst

Position Description
CGI Federal, Government Secure Solutions, is seeking a Host-Based Security System (HBSS) Analyst, to provide support to our DOD customer base in Ft, Meade, MD.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

? Supply subject matter expertise (SME) in:
? McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) server
? Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS)
? VirusScan Enterprise (VSE)
? Rogue System Detection (RSD)
? USAF Asset Compliance Configuration Module (ACCM)
? and ePO dependencies such as MS SQL Server 2008 R2 and Apache
? Assist CND customers with deployment, tuning, and configuration of HBSS modules and policies, via hands-on web console, phone and email communication
? Evaluate and coordinate customer compliance with United States Cyber Command (USCC) orders & directives, assist in preparation for security inspections and support other DoD initiatives related to HBSS.
? Coordinate with CND Analysts regarding malicious events detected via HBSS and update incident reports as needed with supplementary HBSS
Experience or knowledge of deployment, implementation and compliance of HBSS with DOD orders and directives
? Functional / operational knowledge of McAfee ePO, HIPS, VSE, RSD and USAF ACCM
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
? Self-motivated with ability to produce results individually or in a team environment
? Experience interpreting, applying and advising others on DOD IA/CND policies, guidance and regulations.
? Understanding of Information Assurance (IA) and CND concepts, practices and tools to design and administer classified and unclassified DOD computer networks and systems
? Security+ and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications, in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M requirements


-Bachelor?s Degree (or higher) preferred
