Full Time Employee Contractor
• Candidate must have a current CDL license. Able to follow all safety and operator procedures on the following types of platforms/vehicle types; MATV, MRAP, TCN, SNE, POP, and M1200. Personnel will perform limited technical functions related to the support of testing activities such as set up, operation, operator level maintenance and modifications. Personnel may be required to operate/maintain military tactical radios; send/receive voice and data scripts. Required to score and document results on voice transmission. Operate and maintain EPG’s instrumentation suite. Technician cannot have a hearing problem that may skew voice scoring results. Personnel must have the ability to visually see and operate with a small computer monitor. Prefer a working experience with Microsoft Windows applications. Prefer a working experience maneuvering within IMS applications. Must have technical writing skills to document all observation. Must have verbal communication skills to be able to report observations to a central test control center via portable radio set. Must be able to follow daily pre-check out procedures and to document findings. Appropriate boots and attire are required. Position will be subject to other duties as assigned and duty hours will fluctuate base on test requirements, which may require unscheduled overtime. Must be able to park in the rear parking lot of the C4I test bed and walk on uneven ground to MNVR assembly area, fuel pods, range sites, etc.
