The Apprentice is responsible for assisting with the installation of systems and equipment as directed by their supervisor. Working on personally developing electrical skills. All Apprentice activities will be directly supervised. 

Responsible for but not limited to any of the following: 

  1. Assisting in pulling various types of wiring.
  2. Assisting in Site Grounding
  3. Assisting in Duct Bank installation.
  4. Assisting with Manhole installation.
  5. Assisting in Pulling Medium Voltage Cable
  6. Assisting in Prefab Assembly installation.
  7. Assisting with Generator Install
  8. Assisting in installing ½" to 1-1/4" Conduit
  9. Assisting in installing 1-1/2: to 5" conduit
  10. Assisting in Core Drilling
  11. Assisting in the installation of Cable Tray.
  12. Assisting in Pulling All MC sizes.
  13. Installing Light fixtures
  14. Installing Devices
  15. Assisting in the Termination of all 600 Volt wiring.
  16. Assisting in the installation of Busduct.
  17. Installing Temp power Pre Fab Assemblies.
  18. Assisting in the Temp power maintenance lighting and power.
  19. Bending Conduit ½" to 1 ¼" with Hand Bender.  
  20. Removing Temp power
  21. Maintaining clean work area.
  22. Securing company tools daily
  23. Conducting monthly tool checks
  24. Participating in Job site clean up
  25. Handling material.
  26. Preparing the work area.  
  27. Demonstrating effective use of hand tools such as drill motors, sawzalls, hydraulic knockouts punches, etc.
  28. Wearing all Personal Safety Equipment
  29. Following safety policies and rules
  30. Reading, understanding and demonstrating use of Activity  Hazard Analysis
  31. Demonstrating proper use and care of tools
  32. Displaying understanding of and following material safeguarding and storage practices
  33. Displaying understanding of and following equipment safety, safeguarding and storage.
  34. Assisting in all size wire pulling.
  35. Participating actively in Daily work briefings. ?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass background check for current customers.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.?
