Position Description

The Manager of Business Insurance plays a critical role in the agency’s ability to attain key objectives through the active support and management of the Business Insurance team – both sales and service. Objectives are the growth of the customer base, profitability, a strong, cohesive and efficient team and excellent partner relationships. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining sales and service processes, enhancing internal and external partner engagement, communicating the agency's value and capabilities, maintaining strong insurance carrier partner relationships and being a positive and energetic team member. The successful candidate will have excellent team management, relationship building and communication skills.

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 6 years direct insurance sales experience.
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years direct insurance sales experience.

Additional Requirements
Proven management and leadership skills.
Ability to develop and lead teams to create successful results from team environments.
Possess strong personal computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as ability to work with others.
Possess excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to plan, articulate and engage others in the plan and see plan through to completion.

Preferred Skills
Insurance licenses (P&C), Industry designations
