Serves as the primary liaison with the client throughout the engagement lifecycle and is responsible for building a long lasting business relationship, and handling/resolving complex and unique problems as needed.


-Must have a Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. 
-Prefer M.D. or Ph.D. in a related field.

-Must have seven years of experience working with large projects, including IT projects with increasing project management responsibilities, preferably in a health care environment.
-Must have experience with projects related to health care or social sector organizations, and/or large multidisciplinary teams. 
-Must have experience in Information Technology (IT) Implementation working with process improvement tools such as Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). 
-Must have experience with IT Service delivery and Support through utilizing Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation practices. 
-Must have Project Management and/or Enterprise Resource Management experience.
-Must have proven experience in Client Relationship Management and Consulting Management.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience
-May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements. 

-Must have Category I Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by the Project Management Institute. 

Skills or Special Abilities:
-Must have an expert technical knowledge of mainframe, client-server and web-based environments, and comprehensive operational knowledge of healthcare applications and systems.
-Must have an expert level understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, Quality Assurance and Testing, and Technical Product Support Projects/Programs.
-Must have proven ability to lead team problem solving sessions.
-Must have strong organizational, analytical, and statistical skills.
-Must be able to develop, lead, and manage multiple complex projects, utilizing common project management methodologies.
-Must have the ability to assess the issue, and then evaluate and recommend appropriate solutions.
-Must be results orientated with a high sense of urgency to meet client requirements.
-Must have polished and effective communication skills with all staff levels, both internal and external to the organization.
-Must be able to prepare project schedules, budgets, and reports.
-Must be a team player, and work well within a matrix organization.
-Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the interdepartmental roles of various staff members, define complex relationships between medical and business related needs and technical system elements, recognize system problems, and identify the cause to recommend and implement appropriate solutions.
-Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Travel Requirements:
-Must be able to travel 80% or more to support business needs.
