Assist with ongoing operations and processes to maintain HRIS systems (through PeopleSoft, SAP) in order to deliver accurate data for business planning, systems, development, reporting and employee services. Provide reports, statistics and analyses on employees, changes and issues to the rest of the business to ensure accurate costing and planning. Responds to requests for surveys and labor statistics to government agencies, and professional associations. Prepare and write relevant documentation in order that all stakeholders are fully informed and all evidence or statistics are documented. Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to obtain and share information that will benefit National Grid. Maintain Organization Management data to include organization units, jobs, positions, relationships, general attributes, default accounting, and other data related to the maintenance of organization hierarchy. Understand labor contracts and provide support for relevant processes such as step progressions, general wage increases, and annual incentive payroll for National Grid. Support interfaces to various external vendors and internal business functions and understand date and problem resolution associated with those external vendors and internal business functions. Understand the basics of the payroll operations functions and be able to report on payroll data per pay period, month, quarter, or annual. Analyze process issues, replicate the issue, and identify resolution to be communicated. Liaise between the HR Business Partners and Organization Design to implement Organization hierarchy updates or restructures for National Grid. Develop and execute test scripts for patches and version upgrades made available via SAP. Serve as liaison between the Human Resources departments, IT, and the business owners. Manage third party interfaces, including incoming and outbound feeds as well as internal and external relationships. Understand SAP structure to provide reporting and decision-making tools and facilitate data conversion from legacy system into SAP. Develop, track, and assess implementation timelines, issues, action items using project management tools and methods. Plan SAP version and system upgrades. Audit production files for integrity and viability. Provide oversight for the development and customization of system manuals and materials.
Knowledge & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field plus five (5) years of relevant experience in organization management supporting automated HRIS systems, including production support of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) covering sub-modules of Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, Benefits, Enterprise Compensation Management, and Time and Payroll; providing delivery of HCM technology services including system change process & ad-hoc reporting; and implementing and coordinating business process and system changes including testing, identifying and executing change management requirements, and coordinating system change implementation.
