SAIC is looking for a Performance Test Engineer.


The candidate will be able to perform daily tasks assessing performance behaviors of tactical systems across disparate networks. They will collect data over different types of networks and do analysis to verify that Key Performance Parameters (KPP) are met.

Additionally, the candidate will evaluate the performance of both overall and isolated functionality of a tactical system. The Performance Test Engineer will provide reports on the findings and analysis performed to Test Leadership. Additional responsibilities will include execution of test procedures to verify tactical system’s functionality.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree and 5+ years performance testing experience.

- Ability to perform analysis on data trends and provide reports on metrics.
Ability to setup simulation tools and collect data using collection tools (e.g. wireshark).

Ability to use Microsoft Excel to import collected data, generate formulas, and create graphs to show trends of data.

Ability to report network behavior such as bandwidth throttling and bandwidth consumption based off different types of data.

Clearance Requirement:

Must have a current Secret security clearance.
