SENIOR INTELLIGENCE INSTRUCTOR The USAF Expeditionary Center’s Expeditionary Operations School is seeking an intelligence instructor and force protection subject matter expert. This is a full time position located at Joint Base McGuire- Dix-Lakehurst, NJ 08640
This position will support both the intelligence formal training and force protection tactical doctrine development missions of the Expeditionary Operations School (EOS). The position is organizationally aligned under the 423d Mobility Training Squadron (MTS) and will serve as senior Intelligence/Force Protection TTP adviser to the Senior Intelligence Officer and the commander of the 423 MTS. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for preparing a generation of analysts and operators to conduct force protection and mobility operations in both the garrison and deployed environments. This position will: (1) Provide instruction, curriculum development, and course maintenance for mobility and force protection intelligence courses in a team teaching environment that combines lecture and practical demonstration. Subjects include but not limited to: mobility air force operations, force protection and integrated defense operations, intelligence analysis fundamentals, and 4D visualization systems. (2) Provide force protection and intelligence subject matter expertise in developing Air Force tactical doctrine. The candidate will apply military intelligence experience, to plan, organize, develop, and maintain USAF intelligence and force protection tactical doctrine and associated knowledge management efforts. This position will interface directly and foster effective working relationships with counterparts from the Air Staff, major commands, and other Joint and Coalition partners.
Graduate of Air Force 1N0 or 14N Technical Training or other Service equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in related subject with 2+ years of experience in training and education.
Formal military training or adult education experience.
Two years of experience in education or training; particular emphasis on the ability to work in a team-teaching environment, wherein each instructor is familiar with the entire course curriculum and able to ensure continuity between modules.
Extensive knowledge and background in the substantive areas of Air Force intelligence, as well as extensive knowledge of the intelligence community's (IC) structure and member organizations' roles and capabilities regarding analytic matters.
Deep expertise and be well versed in the topics of national security, foreign policy, science and technology, and law enforcement.
Experience as an intelligence analyst within the IC (preferably prior military intelligence), including having extensive knowledge of IC Analytic Standards, analytic tradecraft and methodologies, and experience in applying them to resolve intelligence problems.
Familiarity with military hierarchy, military terms and military acronyms.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented. Be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects on an aggressive timelines.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design
Deployment experience as an intelligence analyst (preferably to Iraq, Afghanistan or African theater)
Experience with other diagnostic or investigative techniques
Certified knowledge management professional (CKM) and/or project management experience
Experience in military doctrine, publication, and/or curriculum development
All candidates must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET, Eligible for TS/SCI security clearance.
