Full Time Employee Contractor
As a Cyber Security Systems Engineer, you will implement and conduct all engineering activities in accordance with the organization's relevant approved processes.
-A bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or other closely related discipline.
-7 years (with a range of experiences on contract) of knowledge and hands-on experience in systems engineering to include network, storage, backup, platforms, middleware, application, monitoring, and
-Demonstrated 10 years knowledge and hands-on experience in security with an emphasis in engineering design, configuration, implementation, operations and maintenance of a variety of security technologies
used for the following security defense areas: network, storage/back, platforms (Windows/Linux Servers and desktops)..
-8570-compliant IAT Level I certification, such as Security.
Experience with one or more of the following:
-Web and email security applications / appliances.
-Demonstrated 10 years knowledge and hands-on experience with network security applications, protocols and associated hardware.
-Demonstrated 10 years knowledge and hands-on experience working with SIEM applications such as, Arcsight, QRadar or Nitro.
-Spunk with hands-on with content creation
-Threat Intelligence and visualization technologies
-Splunk experience: hands on with content creation
-Visualization of quantitative (numerical) or qualitative information
-Excellent interpersonal, organization, writing, communicating, and briefing skills.
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- ISSO/ISSE with risk analysis and migration or C&A experience.
- Security Enclave engineering
-IDS/IPS engineering and tuning.
-Demonstrated 10 years knowledge and hands-on experience working with different security technologies for network defense, web and email defense, endpoint defense, and SIEM/
