PRIMARY PURPOSEUnder the direction of the program manager will organize, maintain, and operate career development education programs, be responsible for grant funding report activities, manage contract agreements and coordinate efforts related to academic programs. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONSEducation:-Must have a Bachelor¿s degree in a related field.Experience:-Must have four years of educational program implementation to include grant and contract management experience, one year of learning management system administration and or relations program experience.-Prefer one year of experience in designated adult learning education.Equivalent Experience:-May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.Certification/Registration/Licensure:-N/ASkills or Special Abilities:-Must have the ability to plan and organize work and schedules.-Must be able to provide and deliver informational presentations as requested.-Must be able to coordinate with other departments to meet the needs of the Career Development Center as it relates to the logistics and scheduling of education and academic programs.-Must be able to obtain, evaluate, create and process educational, academic and other related literature.-Must be able to provide specialized grant funding reporting and information concerning career development programs to appropriate community agencies.-Must have ability to plan, organize and implement career events and publications, prepare letters, flyers, mailers and other materials to publicize Career Development Center services, resources and speaker programs.-Must be able to develop and maintain a current and comprehensive learning materials library to include workshop materials, metrics data and catalogs.-Must have ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with staff members, members of the community and other organizations.-Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with professional staff, medical staff and members of the community.-Must have superior writing skills to compose course outlines, objectives, education materials and program reports.-Must be able to assist in the development of career fairs and career day initiatives.-Must be able to work independently using effective professional and public relations skills with little direction.-Must be able to interpret, apply and explain rules regulations, policies and procedures.
