Coordinates record drawings, architectural plans, building information models and space planning documentation into a standardized, researchable structure in order to ensure timely, accurate information related to the physical environment is available to Parkland Planning, Design & Construction, Parkland Engineering and consultants.
Develops, educates and enforces drawing / modeling standardization for electronic document maintenance and provide drawing / modeling support for internal Parkland projects.
Education: - Must have two years of computer-aided drafting / modeling training from an accredited college, university, or technical school.
Experience: - Must have one year of experience in building design and construction.
Equivalent Education and/or Experience: - May have an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in lieu of specific education and/or experience as stated above.
Certification/Registration/Licensure: - None.
Skills or Special Abilities: - Must be able to demonstrate ability to read and interpret architectural, interior design, medical equipment and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing) plans and specifications. - Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of design, construction and drawing using CAD and BIM systems. - Must be able to communicate effectively with hospital staff and contractors. - Must be able to demonstrate ability to draft and model electronically. - Must be able to accurately measure and note site conditions. - Must possess extensive computer skills. - Knowledge of and competency with the following software packages is especially appropriate: - AutoCAD - Revit - Navis Works - MS Excel - MS Word - MS Powerpoint - MS Outlook - Aperture - Adobe Acrobat - Windows 7 - Vela Systems - SketchUp
- Knowledge of the operation of the following machines is especially appropriate: - HP DesignJet plotter - Cannon plotters - Cannon copiers
