Responsible for managing the Employee Relations function of a business unit. Ensures fairness and consistency by serving as a neutral party when handling employee issues, interpreting and counseling employees and management on OTM policies and procedures, and providing guidance to managers with their employment decisions and all people-related actions.
-Must have Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Must have a minimum of six years of experience in an HR Generalist or Employee Relations Generalist role.
- Must have a familiarity with and/or working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and a working knowledge of federal and state respective employment laws.
-Relevant industry experience is a plus.
-Prefer certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) - OR -
-Certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) - OR -
-Certification as a Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) - OR -
-Certification as a Society for Human Resource Management - Senior Certified professional (SHRM-SCP)
