About the Position:
The purpose of this team is to determine the development needs for the Customer organization and create a plan to operationalize capabilities. This team will work closely with the regional Academy and Global Organizational Development teams to ensure alignment of global/regional solutions and tailor to Customer’s needs. This team will also be responsible for identifying specialist capabilities, specific to Customer, and designing, delivering/implementing and evaluating solutions.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Support the Customer Training & Development Manager in progressing Customer development requests. This includes consulting with leaders on the development needs of Customer and scoping the appropriate development work.
Consult with the business and provide expert advice and recommendations to assess training/development needs
Create professional and clear training proposals and plan that take into consideration the most effective delivery method
Partner closely with the Global Organizational Development / Regional Academy teams to leverage solutions
Partner closely with the New York and New England Call Center training teams to leverage solutions and provide a comprehensive training plan to the Customer organization
Design / Implement
Work with SMEs (subject matter experts) to gather the information necessary to create course content.
Design development solutions for a variety of development methods (synchronous/ asynchronous)
Designs creative solutions for the Customer organization utilizing technology and new delivery methods
Ensure that the proper support for the learning environment is in place, including oversight of the facilities, equipment, instructors, and learners.
Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions
Facilitate training sessions to all levels in the Customer organization (represented workforce, supervisors, managers and senior leaders)
Create a measurement strategy for any designed solutions
Monitor and adjust content to continuously meet the needs of the business/ participants
Knowledge & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of consultative instructional design experience.
Ability to analyze needs, brainstorm and develop creative solutions that reflect desired training outcomes, and develop proposals that reflect those solutions.
Excellent writing and organizational skills that showcase knowledge of adult learning principles and reflect pragmatic application to real-life situations.
Desire to remain current on instructional design trends with an eye towards incorporating new approaches to our delivery models.
Outstanding presentation skills and ability to present solutions in client-facing environments.
Experience reviewing/revising training materials created by others for formatting, flow, and educational effectiveness.
Attention to detail.
High level of motivation and flexibility that allows you to work under deadline pressures and prioritize multiple tasks.
