Enterprise Applications Architect
The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for ensuring that the populated architecture framework is appropriate in the context of the client?s business environment. The Enterprise Architect must be comfortable with leading a team of architects within business, application/systems, data/information and technical architecture disciplines and must be able to explain clearly the benefits of an architectural approach. He/she must be experienced in presenting and explaining the architectural views to clients at all levels from technical/IT staff to Main Board/Director. The Enterprise Architect should also be able to develop portfolios and programs of work to deliver the enterprise architecture.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
? Establishing the scope of the enterprise in question, setting down architectural principles, vision and for ensuring the rigor and integrity of the enterprise architecture, together with associated deliverables
? Provide technical guidance in support of developing application/service and standards for service offerings
? Develop policies, standards develop solutions and recommendations for mitigating risk of vendor specific service related dependencies.
? Development of technical papers, specifications, and recommendations which lead the development of a coherent enterprise-level technical framework and architecture.
? Researching and identifying industry solutions, technologies and best common practices to support the applications and System Integration across cloud service offerings and for cloud interoperability from commercial cloud providers, the private cloud product marketplace, and open source cloud systems.
? Must have experience managing development in a fast paced environment and have experience operating in the Integrated IT Investment & System Life Cycle Framework (ILC). Candidate is responsible for preparing and leading presentations to the client Technical Review Board, including preliminary design reviews, detailed design reviews, and/or technical consults.
? The candidate will review and improve the development tools, mentor the technical team and ensure quality control throughout all phases of the development life-cycle. They will lead the team in design, coding, testing, defect correction, documentation of technical artifacts and working with customer data center staff on implementation activities. The candidate will be responsible for producing technical design and code that meet the documented system requirements.
? Java, J2EE, JMS, EJBs, XML, and the like
? Frameworks like Struts, Spring, JSF, Grails
? Middleware technologies like WebSphere, MQ, TIBCO, Web Methods, BEA
? Experience building large OLTP databases with real-time, performance read and write capabilities, including SQL, table design, performance tuning with Oracle is a plus.
? Experience in Rules engines, ECM, ETL, data modeling, portals, deploying /scaling enterprise applications.
? Experience in large system integration work
