As a Space Systems Electronics Engineer you will provide support to a Research and Development Directorate within an Intelligence Community customer.

Responsibilities Include:

Performs a variety of complex engineering tasks in one of more of the following- Integrated Circuit Design, Hybrid (A-D) Circuit Design, System-on-Chip (SoC) Design; Vector and/or RISC Processor Knowledge, or High-Speed Digital Circuit Design.

Interface with external organizations and labs to coordinate and evaluate R&D efforts.

Facilitate Government sponsored meetings and technical exchanges.

Identify and assess project and program risks.

Develop briefings, white papers and information papers on program and project status.

Develop concepts of operations, identify systems requirements, coordinate with mission partners and customers, and drive advanced capabilities and solutions to critical collection challenges.

Position Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Systems, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.

Electronics engineer with 15+ years of work related experience in one of more of the following:

  • Integrated Circuit Design
  • Hybrid (A-D) Circuit Design
  • System-on-Chip (SoC) Design
  • Vector and/or RISC Processor Knowledge
  • High-Speed Digital Circuit Design

Desired Experience:
o Evaluating developing contractor deliverablesincluding: CDRLs, specifications, design review packages, systems test plansand procedures, test results, monthly status reports, and schedules.
o Developing Statements of Work, Requests for Proposal,Justification and Approvals for
other than full and open competition, Broad Area Announcements, andindustry day briefings.
o Drafting or providing input to COTRs onAcquisition Plans, Program Plans, and periodic management reviews
o Evaluating developer performance, identifyingand assessing program risks and making recommendations to COTR.

Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance based upon a SSBI completed within the last 5 years. Must be willing to submit to an initial and random polygraph.
