Position Title: Technical Professional - Process

Position Description

Be able to develop the knowledge to read and understand DuPont Process / Instrument diagrams and standards

Be able to develop process equipment specifications as needed by other disciplines, size piping using pressure drop calculations, develop process information required for Piping Line List’s, develop instrument sizing with/for the E&I Dept. using pressures, velocities, and required materials.

Use DuPont software to prepare relief valve and rupture disc specifications and design records

0 to 5 years of process experience and BS in Chemical Engineering, literate in computer programs such as word processing and spreadsheet development, have knowledge of process modeling programs such as Aspen Plus and Process Hazards Analysis program, be able to read and understand DuPont standards and guidelines. Physically: Candidate must be able to stand or sit for periods of up to 4 hours. Must be capable in the case of an emergency to don a 5 minute escape pack , carry app. 8 lb. bottle of air to an evacuation point and then if necessary to carry the bottle while walking approx. 10 minutes to an alternate evacuation point.
