The Platform Sales Segment Manager is responsible for driving the success of the Licensed Platform Sales Program by providing leadership, training, coaching and through influencing partners and leaders across several business lines. Success with the strategy is defined by exceeding revenue, referral, cross sell and staffing goals for the Licensed Platform Associate job family and is based on overall total revenue production along with total participation rates. The majority of the Segment Manager role will be spent on directly coaching the Licensed Associates as well as coordinating segment strategy with Retail Bank leadership. Success also includes building a strong regional partnership program between Wealth, as well as other key partner businesses such as Business and Commercial Banking.
Lead the Platform Sales integration effort. Assist leadership teams both in Wealth Management and in the branch network with integrating platform associates in their respective areas.
Oversee production, ensure goals and targets are consistently attained, coordinate business development, training and ongoing education along with overseeing the operating activities of platform associates in compliance with FCIS and FCB policies and procedures. The Platform Sales Segment Manager should allocate time to cover multiple locations both in-person and remotely while adhering to a proactive coaching schedule focused around improving profitability and increasing revenue.
Develop strong working relationships through regularly scheduled, in-person one-on-one meetings with assigned LPA's. Partner closely with Retail and other leadership to regularly review performance, partnership activities and conduct business strategy meetings while tracking ongoing performance trends of individual producers and teams. Review and select additional areas for LPA coverage in partnership with Retail leadership.
Provide leadership of the continuing training and education process for platform associates. Cascade best practices and elevate segment awareness through education, coaching and influence leadership.
Coordinate securities related subjects with FCIS segment manager and banking related subjects with appropriate Area Executive (i.e. complaints, approvals, etc.).
Provide periodic reporting of platform associate activities.
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years securities sales or sales coaching experience including 2 years supervisory experience.
High School Diploma with a minimum of 10 years securities sales or sales coaching experience including 2 years supervisory experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license. Position requires frequent driving to other offices, bank customers, etc. Bank car not provided.
Series 7, 24 and 66 licenses - If not fully licensed at time of application, candidate must acquire all required license certifications within 180 days of job offer.
State specific Life and Health insurance license.
High level of knowledge of securities and insurance products and sales.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel supported area up to 60%.
