Position Description
IT Process Analyst for Change Management

Business Line: Service Support

Date Required: November 1st, 2016

Commitment: 1 year (with a possibility of an extension)
Work Description:
Our client has an immediate requirement for an IT Process Analyst for Change Management to provide expertise on Change Management. (insert specific requirements)

It is anticipated that this resource will be required on a full time basis from November 1st, 2016 to the October 31st, 2017. There is a possibility that this term may be extended.


? perform day-to-day process execution and monitoring activities, ensuring response to services within the appropriate time frame to achieve service levels, critical success factors and key performance indicators

? work closely with the Service Desk and other support teams to ensure support and delivery of quality IT services

? assist and support the Process Manager and ensure that Change and Configuration Management practices enable sufficient impact assessment, risk evaluation, and testing, with adequate back-out and recovery plans

? identify and address process effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance issues, escalating to the Process Manager as required

? ensure compliance with the process, procedures and standards when preparing, testing, distributing, installing, activating and verifying changes

? assist with processing, analysis and publication of management information, audit and reporting as well as the timely tracking, coordination, and communication, of process-related information

? perform audit on request for service queue and change queue to ensure that the change management process is being followed

? perform analysis of data repository content, identifying and resolving discrepancies and initiating/implementing mitigation measures

Experience / Skills Required:

? A minimum of seven (2) years of experience of recent work with IT Change Management Process.


? a combination of education and work experience specifically in the operational and process areas of IT

Professional / People Skills Required:

? Previous experience using ITSM software products (e.g., assyst, ServiceNow, Tivoli, Remedy) and ITIL-based processes

? Intermediate knowledge of ITSM Change Management process

? proven track record of process analysis, support and reporting practices with demonstrable ability to execute day-to-day tasks and activities

? working knowledge of client/server, web, networking and storage environments, IT service delivery and support methodologies

? practical experience within a Microsoft work environment (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word)


? Ability to communicate effectively in both official languages

? Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals Your future duties and responsibilities
